What is Velora?
Velora is a fantasy planet where memory is alive.
Its people, the Velorans, are small woodland archive-beings with pale bark-like faces, dark listening eyes, leaf and twig growths, layered robes, satchels, scrolls and relic tools. They are not elves, goblins or ordinary humans. They are Velora’s own people, shaped by memory, ritual, listening and the living pattern of the planet.
On Velora, death was never the true ending.
When something dies, it returns to the world. But to be forgotten, to have your name, story or place erased is something far worse.
Long ago, the Velorans became afraid of losing too much. They tried to preserve memory, then control it. They built relics, sealed sorrow, gathered names before they were ready, and forced truths from places that had chosen silence.
In trying to save everything, they wounded the world.
Now, Velora’s history lies scattered across broken archives, sealed places, forgotten rituals and memories waiting to be recovered.
Orune travels through this wounded world, recording the people, places and stories that survived. Each Mail Club envelope allows you to follow the next step of his journey and preserve another piece of Velora.
