Velora is a fantasy planet built around one central belief:

Being forgotten is worse than death itself.

On Velora, death is not the end. When something dies, it returns to the living pattern of the world. But when something is forgotten completely, when its name, story or place is erased, it begins to disappear from the world.

That is why memory matters.

The Velora Expedition Archive exists to recover the names, places, stories and fragments that were nearly lost.

The heart of the world

Memory on Velora is not just something people carry in their minds.

It lives in roots, songs, rituals, homes, rivers, maps, names and objects. A place can remember. A house can hold grief. A name can bloom again when the time is right.

But memory can also be damaged.

Some names were erased. Some stories were sealed away. Some places no longer appear on maps. The archive exists because not everything lost is truly gone.

The archive is incomplete. Some records are damaged. Some names are missing. Some truths are not ready to be uncovered.
